Security & Trust

Trust is an engineering requirement

SmartFlow sits on your roof and touches your drainage - so safety, security and honesty are product requirements, not marketing. Here is exactly where we stand, including what we do not claim.

Operational safety

  • Fail-safe by design: the valve is open by default. Any fault - power loss, communications loss, software failure - leaves the drain fully open. Zero added drainage risk.
  • Manual override at any time; every valve action is logged with a timestamp and weather context.
  • Temporary detention only, at the minimum level required by the site's hydrological demand - never a permanent reservoir, never touching the waterproofing.

Data protection & privacy

  • Device telemetry is operational data (water levels, valve states, device health) - not personal data.
  • Personal data we do hold (contact and lead details) is collected with consent, used to respond to you, and never sold. See our Privacy Policy and Privacy Rights pages.
  • We operate in accordance with the principles of the GDPR and Israel's Privacy Protection Law. We do not claim any certification we do not hold.
  • Web traffic is encrypted (TLS); analytics run only after cookie consent, under Consent Mode.

What we claim - and what we don't

We publish measured results with their context (like the ~30% peak-flow reduction, measured in the field) and recognitions we actually hold (Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label, Technion research foundations, 5.5 green-building points with a downloadable justification document). We do not hold ISO certifications and do not claim them. Documents and references are available on request.
