Active Blue Roof

Smart stormwater control. On every existing drain. In minutes.

A small, effective Add-on that mounts on any existing roof drain — 110 or 160 mm — without touching the waterproofing and without infrastructure works. All it needs is a nearby power socket: cellular connectivity is built in, the gate is open by default (fail-safe), and the system detains and releases water at a controlled rate to meet the hydrological requirement — fully documented in real time.

A real win-win

One system. Both sides of the permit.

The contractor needs a fast, simple answer to runoff regulation. The municipality needs proof it is actually working. SmartFlow gives each side exactly that - from the same deployment.

SmartFlow Add-on unit mounted on an existing roof drain

For contractors & developers

  • Fast answer to regulatory runoff requirements
  • Simple to implement - up to 15 minutes per drain, no waterproofing contact
  • Grants 5.5 green-building points, justification document included
  • Smaller basement piping loads - controlled morning release instead of a storm burst

Comparison

Passive restriction vs. SmartFlow

Static flow restrictors and unmanaged retention can reduce peak flow, but they cannot see a storm coming, cannot prove what they did, and cannot coordinate with the city. SmartFlow does all three - on the existing roof outlet.

Proven in Israel

Validated in one of the world’s toughest stormwater environments

Israel combines intense Mediterranean cloudbursts with one of the strictest runoff-management regimes anywhere: since Amendment 8 to national plan TAMA 1, every building permit requires a quantified runoff-management annex. SmartFlow operates 17+ active deployments under that regime - including a 14-site network in Acre - with rain-event reports generated from measured data. If it performs here, it will perform in your market.
