SmartFlow (Smartflow Rain Water Solutions) turns any flat roof into an active blue roof. A compact add-on unit mounts on existing 110/160 mm roof drains in minutes - without touching the waterproofing - detains rainwater to the hydrological requirement, and releases it at a controlled, synchronized rate. A cloud platform monitors every roof and every storm in real time and produces rain-event reports for authorities and insurers. SmartFlow is a Solar Impulse Efficient Solution with research foundations at the Technion, and operates 17+ active deployments across Israel, including a 14-site network in Acre.
